James and Justin both believed there was a better way to help customers realise their dreams.  They wanted to build trustworthy relationships with clients and restore faith in the trade.

After many passionate conversations, they decided to pool their skills and put their collective knowledge to good use.

With a combined experience of over 30 years, they set out to create a reliable construction company that people could trust.

Dragons Construction was established.

Justin

I started my career in construction as an electrical apprentice at the age of 20. Two years later I went off on my own and took on my first house refurbishment project where I learnt a great deal about other trades. I have a great desire to know how things work, and this lead me to hone many different skills over a variety of projects. I am still a qualified and registered electrician, but over the last 12 years years I've expanded my expertise to include plumbing, carpentry and general building. My work has covered a broad spectrum of projects from commercial electrical work in large server rooms, to building a bespoke outdoor bar at Yellow Wave in Brighton.

James

Before I was due to go to University I got a job helping a carpenter for the summer, but as it turned out, I found my calling and decided to start a carpentry apprenticeship instead. I completed my training and went on to work for a company specialising in oak timber framing, barn conversions and restoration of historic buildings. A couple of years later, I realised I had an itch to scratch and I changed my course to serve my country. I had the great honour to serve as a Royal Marines Commando for seven years, completing an operational tour in Afghanistan. After this I returned to the construction world, working as an on-the-tools Project manager for a construction company in West Sussex. I have gained much, varied experience in both the construction world and my military career, and enjoy bringing it all together to complete a project successfully.
